The task of energy saving and emission reduction in China's foundry industry is urgent and imperative. To promote the energy conservation and emission reduction in China's foundry industry, we should start with technological transformation and policy guidance. (1) in the technical transformation: to focus on improving the quality of casting, transformation of backward equipment, promote the use of energy saving and emission reduction equipment, improve the level of enterprise casting technology. (2) in policy guidance: first, to speed up the adjustment of industrial structure; Second, relevant preferential policies should be established to encourage foundry enterprises to increase investment in energy conservation and emission reduction. Third, taxation and other policies should be used to accelerate the elimination of equipment with high energy consumption and serious pollution. Fourth, we need to raise the awareness of energy conservation and emission reduction across the industry and increase law enforcement. Fifth, we should establish new industry standards for energy consumption and waste discharge in China's foundry industry.

This year, China will take energy conservation, consumption reduction and pollution reduction as important measures to adjust the industrial structure and transform the mode of development. We will focus on promoting energy conservation assessment of investment projects, guidance on energy conservation and emission reduction in key industries, energy efficiency standards in industries, energy conservation management in enterprises and evaluation and assessment of target responsibilities.
