Due to the influence of national policies, many precision foundries are transforming their industrial structure towards energy saving and environmental protection. So what are the precautions for energy saving production in precision casting? The following are six points in total:
1. Adopt optimized design and process to improve the production rate of precision casting. On the premise of ensuring the quality of precision castings, changing the casting system and using thermal insulation risers can usually improve the export rate. If the export rate can be increased from 60% to 70%, the energy consumption can be reduced by 14.3%.
2. Adopt the molding machine with high compactness and modern core-making technology to reduce casting quality and machining allowance as much as possible. It has been proved in practice that high-pressure molding can reduce the casting quality by 3%-5% compared with manual molding and ordinary machine molding, and the machining allowance can also be maintained at 2-3mm. Reducing weight can not only save energy in precision casting workshop, but also reduce energy consumption in subsequent processing.
3. Adopt energy-saving technological process and reasonably organize production. For example, use self-hardening resin sand or surface dry type instead of clay sand drying type, saving energy consumption of drying casting; The graphitization annealing process can be cancelled by strictly proportioning, determining the proper composition of precision casting, adopting effective inoculation scheme, and eliminating the white or hard spots on the casting in the casting state; The ductile iron in cast state should be obtained in cast state if the elongation after fracture is less than 12%. Frequency wave harmonic vibration aging process is adopted as far as possible, and stress reduction thermal aging process is removed.
4. Save materials and recycle. Because the production of any material requires energy.
5. Large-scale production of precision casting enterprises, that is, the output of each casting unit is above 5000t. Because of the large production capacity of the enterprise, the working time of the furnace is long, and the heating energy consumption of the furnace itself can be spread out to reduce the energy consumption per ton of precision casting.
6. Improve the management level and reduce the rejection rate. For example, a precision casting factory with an annual output of 5000t will produce 50t more precision castings for every 1% decrease in reject rate. According to the calculation of 400kgee energy consumption per ton, 20t standard coal can be saved in one year, that is, 4kgee energy consumption can be reduced per ton of precision castings.
